Sacral monuments

  • Sv. Justina (Church St. Justina) - stands on the island of the same name in front of the center of Pakostane and was built in 1794 on the foundations of an older church. Next to the church of st. Justina is also an old cemetery.

  • Church of st. Michael (Crkva Sv. Mihovila) - an old parish church was built in 1694, with a total of 4 altars, the largest of which was wooden. The church was certified in 1715 and is evidenced by the inscription on the memorial plaque in the church. Around the Church of Sts. Michal was also a cemetery.

  • Church of the Ascension (Crkva Uzašašća Gospodinova) - the present parish church in the center of Pakostane was built of stone in 1906 according to plans of the architect Cyril Iveković. Now a large three-nave church hides parts of the old church. The church has 6 altars, and on the main altar there is a beautiful altarpiece of the Ascension and the Lighthouse. At the top of the altar, it is gilded and only the remains of the old parish church. The marble altars on the sides of the church are named after the Virgin Mary of the Rosary with the statue of Sts. Anthony of Padua with statue and Saint Roch with statue. There is also a stone altar facing the people, a stone pulpit, a baptistery, two bowls and a sacristy. The church was consecrated in 1912 by Archbishop Vinko Pulišić. The church is an important church of Pakostane.

  • Church of st. Rocha (Crkva Sv. Roka) was built in the 18th century near the rectory and later became an inn and was converted into a warehouse.

  • Church of st. Mary (Crkva Sv. Marije) was built in the 13th century and was destroyed in the 17th century, when the last mention of it. Located in the area called "Crkvina" near Vrana Lake.
