Nature park Vransko jezero is a protected landscape area around Vrana Lake, which is the largest Croatian lake. The originally freshwater lake is now connected to the sea by the Prosika channel and in this Basque water both freshwater and marine fish live as pike or eel carp. The quantity of fish is an attraction for fishermen, who only need to buy one or more days fishing ticket for fishing. Sports-minded tourists are attracted by the 36 km long bike trail, which can also be extended to the more distant views of the surrounding countryside, such as the Kamenjak viewpoint.

The Vransko Lake Ornithological Reserve is part of the Nature Park, located on the northwestern coast of Lake Vrana, with a total of 241 bird species where many waterfowl nest on the marshy banks of the lake. It is possible to take a photosafari with professional accompaniment. The participants get on the boats deep into the swamps where they can watch and take pictures.
