Pakostane is one of the smaller and less known places in Croatia, but is an ideal place for a pleasant vacation. Pakostane is located 8 km south of the town Biograd na moru, not far from the Adriatic castway and the highway. 35 km northwest of Pakoštane is the city of Zadar, and 40 km south-east is the town of Šibenik.

Pakostane is placed between national parks in northern Dalmatia, so it is a good choice for those who are interested in visiting the national parks of Kornati, Krka, Paklenica and North Velebit and Plitvice Lakes. Do not forget to visit and explore the historical Dalmatian towns Zadar and Sibenik, full of historical monuments and Mediterranean ambience.
