Šibenik

The Dalmatian town of Sibenik, about 40 km from Pakoštane, is situated on the mouth of the river Krka into the sea. In addition to the historic center, the narrow romantic streets are captivated by the unique Cathedral of St. The Church of St. James, which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, was only exposed to Croatian limestone and marble. The roof vault is exceptional, the builder Nikola Firentinac was able to construct the interlocking stone pieces.
